So I have been playing real hard on Google Chrome. And I finally got it to crash, well, I don’t know if it’s a good thing. But I guess copy and pasting 34,000 lines of text will do it. Where you’ll get a message “this page is not responding” “kill it” or “return”…
So, I killed it! and got this intersted tabbed page and simple little sad folder?

Well, it seems like only yesterday that I upgraded from CS2 to the newer CS3. But Adobe updated there website on the 23rd of this month, and you can now pre-order Creative Suite 4 Design Standard. You can also pre-order Creative Suite 4 Web Standard.
I think I am going to wait just a little bit, I know that all of the CS4 programs might run on 64bit OS of Vista. which I am not running, just 32bit
.
Would love to get my hands on a copy and play around…

Over the weekend, well, Sunday night I stayed at the Stratosphere “resort”. At least that’s what they are calling it. I think it should be renamed to the Tallest Tower in the crappiest location; But.. our rooms look worse than a motel 6 built in 1964 and smell like 9 dude’s drank to much and puked in the sink and shower! oh and they should trademark that, so lets add a little ™, lol.
But seriously, you already know what I really think of the place. Disgusting, just DON’T ever stay there, no matter how cheap it is… eeewww.

I went to the Blog World Expo which was held in Las Vegas from the 19th-21st. I only made it to the last day. My morning started out at 4am at home, driving to pick my girlfriend up from work and then spending the morning on highway 15 to Vegas! We got to Vegas at around 9:30am just enough time to grab a quick bite before the expo.
Once inside we spent most of the morning browsing inside the exhibits hall. We came across many company’s I have heard of and a lot that I had not. One thing for sure, the hall was filled with Widget Application, like crazy!
Out of the whole exhibit there were only a handful of company’s that stood out to me. And I will tell you about a few of them now.
In no particular order…
- OutBrain.. Integrate ratings and personalized recommendations, quickly and free.
- TechSmith Capture, edit, and share exactly what you see on your screen.
Zannel A free mobile video and photo blogging communitySee post!- Woopra Website Tracking and Analytics.
- Pic App the best content for the best publishers.
Anyway, those are a few of the company’s which I spent a good deal of time talking with. And I liked there ideas and there service.
Oh and I must say that Woopra, is quite the amazing Analytics application! And… thanks Lorelle for giving me a awesome complex speech about the application.
I will see you again next year!

Well, I just downloaded the all might “Google” browser named “Chrome”. And it just happens that I am on the browser right now and posting this post from it. So far, its looks real light weight and might be a good contender in the battle for best browser out there… Though, I am totally happy with Firefox!
Other than Chrome not showing my CSS3 correctly, everything else looks good. I have attached a picture of my “categories” widget. You can see how the column breaks and does not float left. Click here to see…
Will keep you up on what I think about the site browser.
UPDATE
- no spell check built in??
- cool ajax like link(er) like something at bottom of page when loading..

Well, I spend the later part of today and upgraded like 9 WordPress sites to the latest 2.6.2.

I just reworked out some problems with my The Inebriated site. Seems I had to uninstall and put everything back up again. But I am know hosting a SSL. Check out the site, won’t you please?

And I just updated my site to version 2.6.1 like two days ago…
But check out the info about 2.6.2 here, or below
Stefan Esser recently warned developers of the dangers of SQL Column Truncation and the weakness of mt_rand(). With his help we worked around these problems and are now releasing WordPress 2.6.2. If you allow open registration on your blog, you should definitely upgrade. With open registration enabled, it is possible in WordPress versions 2.6.1 and earlier to craft a username such that it will allow resetting another user’s password to a randomly generated password. The randomly generated password is not disclosed to the attacker, so this problem by itself is annoying but not a security exploit. However, this attack coupled with a weakness in the random number seeding in mt_rand() could be used to predict the randomly generated password. Stefan Esser will release details of the complete attack shortly. The attack is difficult to accomplish, but its mere possibility means we recommend upgrading to 2.6.2.
Other PHP apps are susceptible to this class of attack. To protect all of your apps, grab the latest version of Suhosin. If you’ve already updated Suhosin, your existing WordPress install is already protected from the full exploit. You should still upgrade to 2.6.2 if you allow open user registration so as to prevent the possibility of passwords being randomized.
2.6.2 also contains a handful of bug fixes. Check out the full change set and list of changed files.

Seriously the new FOX show “Hole in the Wall”, so funny. I couldn’t not stop laughing at it, but somehow I wish I could slip through a odd shaped hold for 25 thousand and a chance for 100 K.

I spent all night upgrading from version 2.5.1 to version 2.6.1. Which was real easy, but the difficult part was upgrading my theme. I am using the k2 RC6 theme, heavily modified. And with the new WP version came a new Release of k2, k2 RC7.
They made a lot of changes, like new files, new css locations and removed even more files. So I had to upload the new k2 and re-modify the source code to fit back into my site.
I only hope that I remembered it all! Owe, and I am sure you’ll notice that I moved my asides off the sidebar and into the loop! I like it!

I have been real busy, sick and on so many different WordPress installation lately… I have had no time for my own. And I even have some tutorials I have been meaning to start and some that need finishing.
